Seiko SRPE93 (Turtle)
The SRPE93 is commonly called the Turtle.
The SRPE93 is the black-dial Prospex Turtle, the reference that replaced the SRP777 around 2020. The case is the 45mm cushion shape taken from the 6306 and 6309 Turtles of the 1970s and 80s, with a screw-down crown at 4, a unidirectional bezel, Hardlex crystal and 200m water resistance. The dial carries the Prospex X, AUTOMATIC and DIVER'S 200m, and this example has the small lume pip beside the day-date window that later SRPE93s carry. The 4R36 automatic has 24 jewels, runs at 21,600 bph, hacks and hand-winds, with about 41 hours of reserve. The photographs show the kanji day wheel and the watch on a Seiko Z22 rubber strap, which the submitter says was boiled to soften and shape it.

How does the SRPE93 differ from the SRP777?
Look just right of the day-date window. Later SRPE93s have a small lume pip there and a square-edged window, where the SRP777's window is bevelled. Otherwise the two share the case, dial layout, bezel and 4R36 movement. Early SRPE93s were made without the pip, so a watch without one is not necessarily an SRP777: check the model number on the caseback.
What movement is in the SRPE93?
The SRPE93 uses Seiko's in-house 4R36 automatic movement. It operates at 21,600 bph, features 24 jewels, and offers both hacking (the seconds hand stops when the crown is pulled out) and manual winding, with a power reserve of approximately 41 hours.
